Nowadays members not only come from The Haywoods, but attend our meetings from Rugeley, Stafford and further afield. Meetings are held locally at regular intervals throughout the year, usually on the last Wednesday of the month. In early 2002 we expanded into the area of model railways by acquiring a room in Rugeley for work on layouts, locos and models etc. HPW - A local society for people interested in all aspects of railways Meetings The venue is the Lamb and Flag public house in Little Haywood, about 5 miles east of Stafford. We enjoy a wide variety of illustrated presentations by speakers covering many railway subjects and themes. These include mainline, overseas and the preservation scene. Narrow gauge railways are not neglected either. Please see our current programme.   HPW - A local society for people interested in all aspects of railways
