Q: What is the Haywoods Permanent Way?
A: We are a group of like minded people who are interested in all
aspects of railways.
Q: When do we meet?
A: We meet on the last Wednesday of each month, except December, which is usually held on the second Wednesday.
Q: Where do we meet?
A: We meet in an upstairs room at the
Lamb & Flag, Little Haywood, Nr Stafford at 7.30pm.
Q: What happens at our meetings?
A: Each month we have a different speaker, talking about railway
topics, with the help of differing aspects of audio/visual aids.
Q: What else do we do?
A: We have an annual trip to a place of railway interest. We
occasionally hold a BBQ, or Cheese & Wine Evening. We also have a
model railway group and hold a Model Railway Show every 2 years.
Q: When does the Model Group meet?
A: Every Wednesday, except for the last Wednesday of the month, when
we meet on the Thursday due to our main meeting being on the
Wednesday.
